Midlothian Home Field Schedule - Thurs 5-1 through Monday 5-5

In order to help with practice and game field scheduling conflicts please review this weeks game schedule to see if a game is being played during your practice time. If a game is being played on your practice field, you do not need to cancel practice, be creative and locate another flat location and work on small sided skills. If you need ideas for small sided skills please contact any of the MSA Board Members for practice plans and ideas.

We apologize for any scheduling inconveniences. Thanks for your understanding.

Field Conditions

MSA Rainout Numbers:
972-775-2625 (This number is usually updated first.)
469-834-8309

The website will be updated by 3:30PM weekdays for cancellations and by 7AM weekends. Some games may be called by the referees at the field in the event of inclement weather.

If the hotline number and/or the website are not updated, assume that all fields are open and all games will be played as scheduled.

Game Day Preparations

1. U7-U8 coaches upon your arrival at Hawkins Spring Park you should check with Janis at the concession stand to verify which field will be used for your game. There were several games scheduled to be played on the 8PR field and we are trying to move them to either the 8S or 8N fields when available. Also, afternoon U7-U8 girls games scheduled on 8N are often moved to 8S when available.

2. Please bring the appropriate cash breakdown for the referees when you come to the park. Please do not ask the concession stand for change because they are not prepared to make change for coaches, thus it leaves them without change for their business needs.

3. U7 and above home coaches are responsible for the nets on the goals and corner flags for their game field. If you are the first game on the field then you are responsible for hanging nets and placing corner flags. If you are the last game on a field then you are responsible for taking down the nets and removing corner flags. Please ask the referee when you surrender your game report before the game if you are the last match on the field. It is the referees duty to inform you, however it is also be your duty to verify that information. To be extra prepared you can view the game and field schedule on the MSA website.

4. For coaches that turn in game reports (U7+), please include the game number on your game report before turning it in. Also, please verify the details of the enitre scoring section of the game report at end of the match to determine if the appropriate information has been entered. If you turn in the game report and the scoring detail is not complete we have no way to determine the outcome of a match (which could impact standings and delay the publishing of standings).
   a. Turn in your game reports within a week of your game for correct BSW stats.
